His real name is
John Paolo Quiambao Prats. Many of you may remember the bouncing chubby kid amidst a cast of a hundred during those iniatial
Ang TV days, playing second string to sister
Camille Prats who had her own soap already then. Now, he's 19 years old and surely holds his own. The guys stands out from the new crop of heartthrobs and promising actors in the showbiz industry as the buzz on him is more prevalent as each day passes.
More than 11 years ago (1992), many kids dreamt about being the next
Tom Cruise, ready to become a superstar. Among them was an 8-year-old John Prats, wondering how it would feel like to see himself on TV.

He really didn't want to enter back then, but his sister, Camille was always on TV, be it a commercial or a TV show. Then, he said, he wanted to be on TV, too. So, that's when it started. After
Ang TV, projects came naturally to him. There was
Kaybol, another gag show for kids, then he later appeared in his 1st starring role in the adventure movie
Batang X, where he played the character
"Kidlat" as one of the super heroes. Then another very noticable movie,
Rollerboys followed suit. He admitted he was just a kid and thought that he is only playing but later on he fell in-love with his work, that's why, projects kept pouring in on him.

After all the kiddie roles, he was grouped together with
Carlo Aquino and
Stefano Mori as the
JCS in year 1998. They worked together in
Cyberkada, in
G-mik, on several TV commercials and were able to release a recording album. Unfortunately, the trio didn't do as well as expected, so they ended up doing their own thing. And John seemed to know where to go.

John's career moved at lightning speed. Soon enough, his face infected the towering billboards of EDSA with all his product endorsements --

from
Bench clothes to
Hawk Bags to
Close-Up Lemon Mint toothpaste. Yes, John snagged the coveted spot as the youngest male celebrity endorser of Bench. Needless to say, once a celebrity has established himself as part of
Ben Chan's empire...there is no turning back with regard to success.

Every fashion show they had, John's stride was one of boyish innocence...with lots of underplayed confidence.

All modeling aside, John Prats will never allow acting to take second string in his life. His stint in teenybopper film,
Trip and
Jologs, pretty much garnered him good reviews and applauses from different facets of the entertainment industry, as well as from the fans.

In his young age, John undergone lots of career changes. From being the shadow of his sister, a popular child star before--Camille Prats. Then, a big break came when Talent Center launched him again in a trio band--JCS. Where after a year and a half, he went out being a solo artist when the band got disbanded. Then, the road to loveteams made a whole new avenue for him when his team-up with
Heart Evangelista became noticable in
G-mik.

When G-mik ended, the two thought they would totally part ways in terms of their careers. That's why they became more in touch with one another--they consistently text each other.
But their fans wouldn't want to miss their
kilig moments together on-screen. That's why days after, the Talent Center and its management received lots of requests from the fans to bring back their loveteam.
